BKF is seeking a Project Accountant to join our accounting team. You will manage accounts, invoicing, and project costs with accuracy, supporting PMs and clients.

Strong Excel skills and Deltek Vantagepoint experience are valued, with a 1-day/week Oakland presence and hybrid-remote flexibility. We offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities across California and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in architecture/engineering industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and reconciliations.
• Prepare client invoices; ensure labor/expense accuracy.
• Assist PM in reviewing costs (budget vs actual).
• Provide invoice support documentation to clients.
• Prepare WIP/AR aging and project budget vs actual reports.
• Support project setup/maintenance in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Troubleshoot billing issues; perform other duties as needed.
• Hybrid-remote work after 1 day/week in Oakland office.
