A.W. Chesterton Company is seeking a Payroll Specialist in the U.S. with payroll experience and strong data skills. The role covers timekeeping, wage calculations, and payroll processing across multiple cycles, with on-site and remote work options under a Hybrid model.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of payroll experience, precise data entry, and familiarity with ADP WFN and time-keeping software. Comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years related payroll experience required.
• Ability to meet time deadlines.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Maintains time worked records and payroll statistics; calculates and distributes payroll.
• Processes three payrolls per week: one weekly and two salaried.
• Compiles hourly data and enters it into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintains all payrolls including adjustments for new hires and terminations.
• Calculates vacation and sick time per policy and distributes checks.
• Administers wage garnishments and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Distributes W-2 tax forms and works with Time and Attendance software.
• Reconciles Fidelity 401k deferrals monthly against records.
• Maintains payroll records, GP invoicing, and monthly GL entries.
• Trains others in the department on payroll duties.
