HOK Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in a hybrid role requiring on-site presence Tue–Thu at an HOK office. The role focuses on project accounting for architecture and design projects, including billing, revenue recognition, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2–4 years in project accounting, with proficiency in Excel and Deltek Vantagepoint. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in architecture.
• Experience with revenue recognition and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly invoices, budgets, and project reports.
• Set up and maintain projects in the accounting system per contract terms.
• Track and input project budgets and financial data.
• Review cost reports and assess profitability and costs with project managers.
• Manage consultant invoice processing and communications.
• Assist with revenue recognition and monthly earnings analysis.
• Provide general accounting support as needed.
• Support sustainability initiatives through green practices.
