Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in a hybrid role with on-site presence required Tue–Thu at an HOK office. The Denver, CO location is among several cities offered. You will support project setup, billing, reporting, financial analysis, and revenue recognition for multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of project accounting experience, a BA in accounting, and strong Excel skills. Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in project accounting; architecture/design/construction experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to perform financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly invoices, budgets, and project reports.
• Set up and maintain projects in accounting system per contract terms.
• Track and input project budgets and financial data.
• Review project cost reports and discuss profitability with PMs and Finance leadership.
• Manage consultant invoice processing and communications.
• Review contracts and financial requirements; assist with revenue recognition.
