Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Accountant for its Corporate Accounting team in a hybrid role requiring on-site presence Tue–Thu at an HOK office. Offices are in Miami among others. You will work with Project Managers and Finance leadership on project setup, billing, reporting, and revenue recognition.

Your background should include a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2–4 years in project accounting, ideally in architecture. Strong Excel, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of project accounting experience.
• Experience in architecture/design/construction preferred.
• Revenue recognition knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly invoices, budgets, and project reports.
• Set up and maintain projects in accounting system per contract terms.
• Track budgets and financial data; review cost reports with PMs.
• Manage consultant invoices and project contracts.
• Assist with revenue recognition and earnings analysis.
• Provide general accounting support and respond to inquiries.
