Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Project Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in a hybrid role requiring on-site presence Tue, Wed, and Thu.

You will support project setup, billing, reporting and revenue recognition for multiple projects. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in project accounting, a bachelor’s in accounting, advanced Excel, and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project accounting principles within architecture, design, or construction industries.
• Ability to oversee multiple large, complex projects and recognize revenue.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills; effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly invoices, budgets, and project reports.
• Set up and maintain projects in the accounting system per contract terms.
• Track project budgets and financial data; review cost reports.
