Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking an Accounting/Billing professional to support month-end close, client invoicing, and project cost review. The role involves coordinating with project managers and clients, maintaining accurate labor and expense charges, and generating essential financial reports.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Architecture or Engineering industry preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Experience interfacing with project managers, clients, and architects.
• Deltek Vantagepoint accounting system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing process and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review client invoices; ensure labor and expense charges are accurate.
• Assist Project Manager in reviewing project costs (budget vs actual).
• Research invoicing questions and provide invoice support documents.
• Prepare project financial reports (WIP aging, AR aging, budget vs actual).
• Assist with Deltek Vantagepoint project setup and maintenance.
