EKI Environment & Water, Inc is seeking a Billing Specialist in Daly City, CA to support accounting operations across the firm. The role involves managing the billing lifecycle from project inception to closeout, setting up projects in Deltek Ajera, and preparing monthly billing packages for clients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and at least two years of billing experience in a consulting environment, with strong MS Office and Deltek proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
Minimum of two years of billing experience for consulting business.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with Project Managers through the project lifecycle from notice of award to closeout.
Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Ajera per contract requirements; read and interpret contracts for accounting/invoicing implications.
Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports; process labor and expense transfers; ensure postings comply with contracts.
Ensure accurate and complete invoice packages are submitted to clients in a timely manner with required back-up.
Respond promptly and professionally, resolving issues and communicating clearly with clients.
