Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team is seeking engineers to develop, test, and implement power systems control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and protection relays. This hybrid role offers blending field and office work with paid overtime and a company vehicle.

The role emphasizes creating software for PLCs/HMIs across power transfer applications, aligning with customer specifications, and guiding electrical designers on drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with significant power distribution controls experience.
• Experience requirement: 7+ years (Bachelor’s), 5+ years (Master’s), or 10+ years total.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications.
• Follow customer specifications and internal project specs.
• Select components and draft BOMs; support design drawings.
