Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager in Houston to act as a technical sales expert for HVAC products and BAS solutions. The hybrid role requires field travel and collaboration with district teams to grow the customer base and close contracts.

Responsibilities include developing existing accounts, prospecting new business, preparing quotes, and coordinating project estimates. Strong communication and Salesforce experience are valued assets for success.

Qualifications

2+ years of sales experience in a related industry.
Commercial HVAC sales experience strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel daily and cover an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Sell in territory by building relationships with customers and team members.
Meet sales goals through development of existing customers and new prospects.
Compile lists of prospective customers from multiple data sources for leads.
Travel within territory to solicit orders and address customer concerns.
Prepare cost estimates/quotations and coordinate project continuation estimates.
Verify prices and terms; prepare and review sales contracts.
Assess competitors to determine product changes or new offerings.
Prepare pipeline, activity, and business plan reports.
Identify tools, rebates, and ROI to aid sales efforts.
Plan and guide projects to completion with SME input as needed.
Collaborate with vendors/contractors to deliver complex solutions.
