Daikin Applied Americas Inc. is seeking an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert, developing and maintaining customer relationships and selling preventative maintenance contracts.

Based in Seattle with a hybrid work model, you will travel locally to customers and job sites, collaborating with reps, service teams, and engineers to drive growth and deliver HVAC/building automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of related sales experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to travel territory daily.
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market.

Responsabilités

• Work in assigned territory, partnering with reps, district office and service center managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and technicians.
• Meet sales goals through developing existing customers and prospecting new business.
• Compile lists of prospective customers from various data sources to generate leads.
• Travel throughout territory to call on customers, solicit orders, and follow up on concerns.
• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work; coordinate estimates on continuations.
• Verify and quote prices, terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Perform tests and surveys on competitive products to identify need for product changes.
• Prepare pipeline, sales activity, and business plan reports.
• Identify tools/resources to assist sales efforts (e.g., energy rebates, ROI).
• Plan and guide projects through to completion with internal/external experts.
