Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas seeks a Service and Solutions Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert, developing and maintaining direct owner relationships. You will sell preventative maintenance contracts and advise on products and solutions based on client needs in the Greater Atlanta area.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Owners, reps, service managers, and technicians to meet sales goals while delivering tailored HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus HVAC certification and 5 years HVAC field service experience or bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience.
• Commercial HVAC controls and/or mechanical project sales (Strongly Preferred)
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to travel territory daily
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market
• Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software (Preferred)
• Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work in assigned territory, partnering with Owners, manufacturers reps, district offices and service centers.
• Meet sales goals through development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
• Compile lists of prospective customers from databases, directories, and industry sources.
• Travel throughout territory to call on customers, solicit orders and build relationships.
• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and project continuations; verify prices and terms.
• Conduct tests and surveys on competitive products to determine need for changes.
• Prepare pipeline reports and business plans.
• Identify tools/resources to assist sales efforts (energy rebates, ROI).
• Plan and guide projects through to completion with internal/external experts.
• Work with vendors/contractors to deliver complex products/solutions.
• Research and target enterprise level clients.
• Mentor/coach staff and lead training sessions.
