Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's IU Research Human Resources team is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the primary intake point for research HR requests, triage cases, and ensure timely routing to the appropriate HR team member.

You will support the employee lifecycle processes, provide 1st level HR guidance, assist with recruitment and onboarding, maintain confidential records, and collaborate with HR colleagues across IU while operating in a hybrid Bloomington setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of HR related experience plus advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains academic and/or staff HR related work including recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, and evaluations.
• Researches and analyzes HR topics to help resolve issues and create solutions.
• Creates and analyzes reports for HR related activities.
• Maintains HR records and confidential information.
