Indiana University Bloomington Human Resources is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with academic and administrative units across campus. You will counsel staff and managers on HR topics, support recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and performance management, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Indiana University (IU) Bloomington Human Resources (HR) manages day-to-day HR operations and drives the implementation of strategic people initiatives for 26 departments, units, and schools across the IU Bloomington campus. As strategic business partners, we provide subject matter leadership and consulting designed to increase workplace productivity and to develop improved processes for attracting, developing, and retaining people with the required skills and aptitude to meet current and future business needs.
Areas of responsibility may include employment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, and ongoing HR support in assigned unit(s).

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
