TEKsystems is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to provide first-line IT support for end users in a hybrid St. Petersburg, FL environment. You will troubleshoot Windows, Office 365, Exchange Online, VPNs, and business applications, and manage incidents in ServiceNow for remote and on-site staff.

This contract role emphasizes strong customer service, rapid issue resolution, and meticulous documentation. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a help desk and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Help Desk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or IT Support role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues.
• Provide support for Windows-based systems, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, web browsers, VPN technologies, and proprietary business applications.
• Utilize ServiceNow and remote support tools to manage incidents and service requests.
• Support both on-domain and off-domain users in office and remote work environments.
• Perform PC deployments, workstation setup, upgrades, replacements, data backups, and data restoration.
• Install, configure, and support desktop software and business applications.
• Diagnose and coordinate hardware break-fix activities including warranty processes with HP.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, including workstation setup and access verification.
• Document troubleshooting steps and interactions within the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and maintain SLAs.
