Job summary

Sargent & Lundy invites an Associate Engineering Intern to join the Grid team, assisting senior engineers with project work on transmission and distribution projects. You will contribute to calculations, specifications, and designs while gaining exposure to power systems.

Under supervision, you’ll expand your civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering background, with a hybrid work arrangement (three days in the office, two remote) and a start target in summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in BS or MS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• ABET coursework encouraged; strong academic background.
• Willingness to work on design calculations, reports, and procurement documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities and progress for reporting.
• Participate in power designs and procurement documents for major equipment.
