Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an Associate Intern to support the Grid team, assisting senior engineers in transmission and distribution projects. You will contribute to calculations, specifications, and design work across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.

You will balance onsite and remote work in a hybrid setup, three days in office and two from home, while learning through mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong academic background.
• Candidates from related engineering fields may be considered with relevant coursework in civil, geotechnical, stiffness/strength, statics, or electrical power.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities and progress for reports.
• Prepare documents and specifications for procurement of major equipment, structures, and installation services.
