Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Engineer to support electric network modeling tools, including DMS and Synergi, to optimize distribution performance for safe, reliable energy delivery. The role collaborates with control centers, IT, and engineering to enable modernization of grid operations and to implement advanced applications like AFR, LVM, and Load/Scheduling.

The position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of electric distribution modeling, and experience with DMS/SCADA/EMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 3 years of experience in the electrical utility industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution, implementation, and maintenance of electric network modeling tools (DMS, Synergi).
• Serve as SME in real time technologies (ADMS, SCADA, DER dispatching, energy storage, microgrids, VVO).
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to ensure DMS functionality and future enhancements.
• Develop documentation for project approvals: need statement, scope, technical solution, risks, budget, schedule.
