Job summary

Eversource is seeking an engineer to support the execution, implementation, and maintenance of the Company’s electric network modeling tools, including DMS and Synergi Electric. You will work with a team across states to optimize the distribution system, ensure safe and reliable operations, and support multi-disciplinary project activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3-5 years of experience, with travel across MA/CT/NH and potential emergency work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3-5 years related experience preferred.
• Experience modeling electric distribution systems and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Support distribution system optimization using DMS advanced functionality (AFR, LVM, planned outages).
• Act as SME in real-time tech: ADMS, SCADA, DER, energy storage, microgrids.
• Collaborate with OPS, IT and engineering for DMS functionality and enhancements.
• Develop project documentation: scope, budget, schedule, risk and mitigations.
• Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary; may require emergency/extended in-office work.
