Job summary

Eversource Energy in Windsor, CT seeks an Engineer to support the execution, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Company’s electric network modeling tools including the Distribution Management System (DMS) and Synergi Electric applications. You will be part of a team of engineers delivering safe, reliable, and resilient energy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
3–5 years of related experience is required.
Engineering design experience preferred.
No licenses or certifications required.

Responsibilities

Support operators by optimizing distribution via DMS AFR, LVM, and DER forecasting.
Serve as SME in real-time technologies: ADMS, SCADA, DER dispatching.
Collaborate with IT and engineering for DMS functionality and enhancements.
Develop project budgets, scopes, and schedules; prepare technical documentation.
Investigate new tools and modernization opportunities for the distribution system.
Develop data processing tools to support engineering models and databases.
Support multi-disciplinary teams across MA/CT/NH and related groups.
