Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer, Grid Operations Technology to lead the planning, development, integration, and operation of technology supporting electric transmission and distribution. You will collaborate across IT, Engineering, Planning, and Operations to ensure reliable, secure grid operations and modernize distribution systems.

The role requires deep expertise in ADMS, OMS, SCADA, EMS, and DERMS, with years of hands-on modeling, testing, and vendor oversight.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
8–10 years in the technical, operational, or engineering aspects of the electric utility industry; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of grid operations technology and OT cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical leadership for grid operations technology supporting transmission and distribution operations.
Develop and maintain power system models for ADMS, EMS, DERMS, and related apps.
Lead system integration efforts across ADMS, OMS, SCADA, GIS, and related platforms.
Coordinate with Operations, Planning, IT, Cybersecurity, vendors, and stakeholders to align grid modernization.
Support control room and field operations in resolving complex technology and operational issues.
