Job summary

CRH's Americas Materials in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Division Equipment Performance Improvement Manager. This hybrid role combines asset procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization to reduce total cost of ownership while supporting safety and field operations.

You will partner with operations, finance, and shop teams, lead fleet strategy, and drive continuous improvement using CMMS, EAM, and ERP systems; travel 60–70% and earn $120k–$140k plus a 15% bonus.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive shop, equipment maintenance and equipment management experience.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems preferred.
• CMMS, EAM, ERP system familiarity and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience in construction and materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee-driven safety culture is present and effective.
• Promote safe, effective, and efficient maintenance and repair practices.
• Facilitate regular communication with Division/Business Unit Equipment Managers.
• Work with Unit Managers to ensure TCO is competitive or lower.
• Collaborate with Finance on CapEx, budgeting and reporting.
• Support CapEx with multi-year planning and lifecycle analysis.
• Provide feedback on performance initiative metrics.
• Maintain communication to maximize equipment life at lowest TOC.
• Be visible in shops and field locations; guide repair and maintenance.
• Assist with understanding equipment financials, dashboards, metrics and reports.
• Optimize operating conditions to improve equipment performance.
• Promote OEM dealer partnerships.
• Develop fleet strategies for cross-market sharing.
• Champion shop/equipment excellence programs (CMMS, 5S, maintenance, etc.).
• Drive innovation through new technology.
• Ensure revenue and hourly rates break even for equipment and delivery.
• Train and mentor division equipment leaders.
• Utilize performance management and safety awareness.
• Collaborate with National Fleet Operations Team on programs.
• Winter maintenance budgeting; involve Equipment and Finance for budgeting.
