Job summary

CRH's Staker Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment Performance Improvement Manager for the West Division. The role focuses on asset procurement/disposal, management, maintenance, and reducing total cost of ownership across fleets.

The candidate will partner with operations, shops, and finance to optimize performance, safety, and reliability. The position is hybrid (office and remote) with 60–70% travel, offering a competitive package and a 15% bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety culture is present and effective.
• Promote safe, efficient maintenance and repair practices.
• Coordinate with Division and BU Equipment Managers and Procurement.
• Ensure TCO is competitive or lower than industry standards.
• Collaborate with Finance on CapEx, budgeting and reporting.
• Support CapEx process with multi-year planning and lifecycle analyses.
• Provide feedback on performance initiative metrics.
• Identify opportunities to maximize life of equipment while reducing downtime.
• Assist with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and CMMS usage.
• Optimize site operating conditions to improve equipment performance.
• Promote OEM dealer partnerships.
• Develop fleet strategies for inter-market sharing.
• Champion shop/equipment excellence programs (safety, maintenance, parts, winter plans).
• Drive innovation through new technology.
