Job summary

CB&I Asset Solutions in Houston is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead growth across the US & Americas in the oil & gas and energy sectors. You will drive acquisition, sustain client relationships, and shape entry into new markets with delivery teams.

The role demands extensive industry experience, strategic market insight, and strong communication across global teams. A hybrid work approach is supported, with in-office presence required in Houston several days per week.

Qualifications

Degree qualified; Engineering / Technical Degree preferred.
20+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience, with substantial Operations leadership.
10+ years of industry experience in Houston / Americas region, active in local industry forums is preferable.
Strong knowledge of US & Americas energy markets and understanding of current market trends and opportunities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams across regions.

Responsibilities

Lead Business Acquisition / Business Development efforts in US & Americas for oil & gas and energy facilities lifecycle.
Manage relationships with regional & global Asset Solutions customers in Houston & Americas.
Research regional market opportunities and develop growth strategies.
Lead proposal efforts and coordinate inputs to deliver differentiated client offerings.
Oversee onboarding, transition, and new country entry plans for new contracts.
Maintain safety as a core responsibility and adhere to Lifesaving Rules.
Develop and maintain relationships with CB&I Asset Solutions and Storage Solutions teams to maximize client value.
