Job summary

Experis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Owings Mills, MD for hybrid work arrangement. You will join the IT Support Department supporting a diverse team of professionals and handling high-volume end-user requests.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of desktop support experience, strong Windows expertise, and hands-on experience with imaging, deployment, and LDAP/VPN provisioning. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits through a contract with ManpowerGroup family.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in a technical field as listed.
5+ years of hands-on desktop support in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Experience with imaging, deployment, and equipment provisioning.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line technical support for a high volume of walk-up and remote end-user requests.
Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows desktops and laptops.
Support hardware and software lifecycle activities including testing and deployment preparation.
Provision onboarding for new hires (desktop setup, email, LDAP, VPN).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and app issues to minimize downtime.
