Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to be the first line of technical contact, providing timely help desk support for hardware, software, and peripherals. The role supports both in-office and field personnel in a hybrid Morgantown environment.

You will configure new hardware, manage software deployments, and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, while following IT policies and maintaining the asset inventory.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+ or Microsoft cert).
• Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common productivity apps (Office 365/Google Workspace).
• Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line IT support, resolve or escalate help desk tickets.
• Communicate clearly with requesters and stakeholders on ticket status.
• Configure new user hardware, install software, and manage accounts/access.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity across devices (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile).
• Deliver first-level support for core systems, apps, email, and VPNs.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks and equipment deployment/recovery.
• Maintain IT asset inventory accuracy and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Follow IT policies and participate in incident management and problem resolution.
