Jacobs is seeking a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge engineering design and construction across the United States, with travel up to 50%. The role emphasizes collaboration with design, procurement and construction teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery for industrial and commercial facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction project management, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with 3D modelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.
• Experience with 3D modelling software.
• Field construction experience on active projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning tasks including bid packages, scheduling, estimating, and VDC modeling.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and sequencing plans.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams for timely information flow.
• Develop risk registers and mitigation plans with stakeholders.
• Lead client interface and manage expectations.
• Assist in developing site logistics and subcontracting strategies.
