Job summary

Turo in Phoenix is seeking a Complex Claims Supervisor to lead day-to-day execution of complex auto claims, manage outcomes, cost control, and customer experience in a high-exposure environment.

You will coach Complex Claims Specialists, review work, escalate issues, monitor metrics, and drive process improvements. This in-office role is on a hybrid schedule, 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Thu). Base salary $70,000–$87,000 annually, with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auto claims experience.
• Strong supervisory and people leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of complex auto claims within assigned queues.
• Coach Complex Claims Specialists and Team Leads through 1:1s and side-by-sides, addressing performance gaps.
• Serve as the first line of escalation for complex, sensitive, or high-dollar claims.
• Review claims for accuracy, consistency, defensibility, and documentation; escalate issues with context and solutions.
• Actively manage storage exposure, salvage, towing, and vendor-related timelines.
• Monitor team performance against metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
