Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of recent auto claims adjusting experience, with strong knowledge in physical damage and liability claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex auto claims from initial investigation to resolution, including multi-vehicle accidents, disputed liability, and total loss cases.
• Analyze policy coverage, statements, evidence, and damages to make timely and well-supported settlement decisions.
• Evaluate and negotiate both first- and third-party physical damage claims within established authority limits.
• Document actions and progress claims efficiently using Guidewire ClaimCenter and other digital tools.
• Maintain and prioritize an assigned inventory of claims with thorough documentation and timely resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service through empathy, proactive communication, and clear expectation-setting.
• Collaborate with internal teams, appraisers, and business partners to resolve complex claim issues.
• Support surge workloads and catastrophe-response operations, including potential on-call, evening, weekend, or holiday work.
• May require travel or deployment on short notice during catastrophe events and flexibility to perform additional duties as needed.
