Job summary

Turo is seeking a Complex Claims Supervisor in Arizona to lead a fast-paced auto claims team. You will own end-to-end outcomes for complex claims, coach specialists and team leads, and ensure timely resolution while controlling costs and maintaining quality.

Key responsibilities include reviewing claims for accuracy, supervising performance, and partnering with salvage and inspection vendors to minimize delays, with a hybrid in-office schedule. Equity and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auto claims experience.
• Strong supervisory and people leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and protection plan terms.
• Ability to identify operational risk and elevate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of complex claims within assigned queues, including high-value repairs and potential total loss vehicles.
• Coach Complex Claims Specialists and Team Leads with regular 1:1s and side-by-sides.
• Review claims for accuracy, defensibility, and documentation; escalate with context and solutions.
• Manage storage exposure, salvage returns, towing, and vendor timelines.
• Collaborate with salvage and inspection partners to resolve bottlenecks and minimize costs/delays.
• Monitor metrics like cycle time, costs, quality, and customer experience; drive process improvements.
