AlphaStaffHCM seeks a Senior Auto Adjuster - Non-Injury based in Phoenix, AZ to manage highly complex auto claims with end-to-end handling and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes proactive communication and accurate damage evaluation, aiming for timely resolutions.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence three days per week after a 3-month tenure, and includes an $8,000 signing bonus after 45 days, along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years handling low to moderately complex auto non-injury liability claims.
• Active Adjuster's License within 90 days and up to 3 attempts.
• Experience determining auto liability coverage.
• Knowledge of auto claims contracts, case law and state regulations.
• Strong negotiation, investigation, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize risk and responses.
• Job-related assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates to determine coverage, liability and damage for highly complex auto claims.
• Negotiates liability for comparative negligence.
• Identifies coverage concerns and SIU referrals when appropriate.
• Interacts with police, statements and witnesses to gather information and determine liability.
• Analyzes information to ensure regulatory compliance and settlement value.
• Evaluates and negotiates settlements within authority limits and manages storage charges.
• Documents thought process for damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation and settlement decisions.
• Collaborates with internal/external partners to facilitate resolution.
• Supports policyholders and claimants via multiple communication channels for timely resolutions.
• Applies knowledge of P&C products, policies and claims handling processes.
• May serve as an informal resource for team members.
• Supports CAT response and may require on-call, evenings, weekends or travel.
