Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist I to provide product applications and technical support for diagnostic test systems, including training, troubleshooting, and customer consultation. This role supports sales growth by delivering world-class service and managing the complaint handling process.

The position follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite reporting 2–3 times per week to field offices in Salt Lake City, Raleigh/Durham, or St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biological sciences required.
• 2+ years of professional related experience in Clinical laboratory setting with specialization in Microbiology and/or Molecular Biology required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize answering customer inquiries and document in ERP system; deliver world-class customer support and educate on products.
• Initiate, manage, and resolve customer complaints; escalate when needed for further investigation.
• Perform on-call duties to provide 24-hour technical support to customers.
• Support existing customers with training and technical assistance as products are launched.
• Manage product returns when applicable.
• Maintain competency of bioMérieux products and assist with new product implementation.
• Participate in revenue generation initiatives and promote value-added projects and services.
• Establish and maintain ERP certification.
