Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Clinical Applications Specialist I to provide product applications and technical support for diagnostic test systems, including training, troubleshooting, and consultation. You will manage customer complaints, coordinate with internal teams, and support sales growth with world-class service.

The role emphasizes maintaining product knowledge, on-call support, and participation in training for new products, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biological science.
• 2+ years of professional related experience in Clinical laboratory setting with specialization in Microbiology and/or Molecular Biology.
• Customer facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries and document in ERP.
• Initiate, manage, and resolve customer complaints; escalate when needed.
• Perform on-call duties to provide 24-hour technical support.
• Provide training and technical assistance for product updates.
• Manage product returns where applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of bioMérieux products and procedures and assist with new product implementations.
• Contribute to revenue-generation initiatives by promoting value-added services.
• Establish and maintain ERP certification.
• Meet quality plan standards and departmental KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
