Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a customer service-oriented professional to bridge client needs and laboratory operations. The role involves handling inquiries, coordinating data, and ensuring timely communication in a hybrid lab environment.

Your duties include updating clients with findings, supporting quotations, managing samples, and maintaining orderly, compliant procedures while preserving client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in scientific field is required or equivalent.
• Associate degree with 2 years of client management or customer service experience acceptable.
• Customer service experience is preferred; laboratory environment experience is a plus.
• Some college training in science or science background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate information exchange between clients and lab staff via email and phone.
• Respond to client requests within SLA timeframes.
• Ensure clear communication, good service, and fast turnaround times.
• Explain technical information and testing problems to clients.
• Monitor turnaround times and support accurate quotations.
• Coordinate and track sample data for special accounts and reporting procedures.
• Know when and how to file customer complaints.
• Answer basic questions using available resources.
• Understand ENAC service offerings and related lab services.
• Assist in maintaining, ordering, and shipping supplies to clients.
• Provide clerical support such as quote preparation.
• Manage time for productivity and efficiency.
• Use required systems effectively and maintain a clean work area.
• Protect proprietary methodologies from disclosure to non-employees.
• Maintain cooperative relationships across units and promote ethical business practices.
• Possess basic knowledge of relevant industry fields (e.g., food, feed, human food products).
• Act as a representative of the client within the organization.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Travel may be required for trade shows or client visits.
