Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services seeks a Lab Operations Specialist to support execution of laboratory testing programs and client projects. This role links clients, lab staff, quality teams, and operations to ensure studies are completed accurately and on schedule.

The candidate coordinates multiple priorities, communicates across departments, and translates study requirements into actionable lab execution, with a scientific background and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a laboratory, scientific, quality, operations, project coordination, or client services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Experience with LIMS, GMP/GLP, FDA-regulated environments preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and support operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Review client requests, quotations, purchase orders, protocols, methods, specs to ensure study requirements are clear.
• Create and maintain project records within LIMS and client management systems.
• Coordinate study initiation activities and ensure resources are available before launch.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and provide regular project status updates.
• Lead client meetings and document decisions, actions, and updates.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Operations, QA, Sample Management, Finance, and others to enable execution.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risks.
• Review project scope and changes in client requirements; support change management.
• Assist with invoice review and milestone tracking.
