Dahl Consulting seeks a Claims Administrator for the client in St. Paul, MN.

This hybrid, contract role supports workers' compensation claims from initial notification through closure and collaborates with internal partners, insurance carriers, and a third-party administrator. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to manage documentation and timelines across multiple stakeholders during a 60/40 hybrid

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Strong computer/navigation skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication, and tracking of workers' compensation injury claims.
• Collaborate with third-party claims administrator on coverage, cost estimates, and case management.
• Coordinate claims from initial notification through resolution and closure.
• Maintain accurate information related to work status, medical appointments, modified-duty opportunities, and costs.
• Communicate claim updates to safety, operations, finance, risk, and legal teams.
• Obtain and review relevant documentation, records, and regulatory information.
• Investigate and document scope and circumstances of claims and incidents.
• Document claim-management activities and provide updates throughout the process.
• Work independently and with the team to support objectives.
