The candidate should be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams), and capable of reporting on claim status to multiple departments. A post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Highly organized and resourceful, able to learn new processes quickly.
• Strong communication via phone, email and Teams chat.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication and tracking of workers’ compensation injury claims.
• Collaborate with third-party claims administrator to perform exposure/coverage determination, cost estimation, and case management.
• Coordinate claim management from notification to close.
• Communicate claim notifications and findings to safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management and law departments.
• Obtain necessary documentation, records, statements, and regulations and investigate scope of claim/incident.
