Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Project Accounting group. The role supports portfolio-based invoicing on assigned projects with minimal supervision, collaborating with the project analyst and accounting staff to ensure timely payments.

The position is hybrid (in-office 3 days/week) and located at one of STV's US offices, including Dallas or Frisco, TX. A minimum 5+ years in billing and strong Excel skills are required to manage complex invoicing and audits.

Qualifications

• HS/GED Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management/Administration preferred or demonstrated equivalent years of experience
• A minimum of 5+ years of related experience
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Draft project invoices with accuracy and in contract terms
• Audit the accuracy of billing information in the ERP system
• Review contracts, modifications, and task orders for billing terms
• Create invoicing templates to meet contract requirements
• Route invoices for approval before finalizing
• Maintain document control of invoices and approvals
• Address billing issues and coordinate with systems design for new features
• Support invoicing of retention balances as directed
• Assist with year-end overhead audits and cash application guidance
