Job summary

VHB is seeking a dynamic Billing Analyst to join our New England Regional Finance team. This hybrid role supports the billing and financial administration of engineering projects, ensuring accurate invoicing and strong project performance.

The position is ideally based in Winooski, VT; Bedford, NH; or South Portland, ME, with flexibility for other New England locations. Responsibilities include processing client invoices, managing AR aging, applying payments, coordinating with Project Managers,

Qualifications

• Associate degree (Accounting/Finance/Business/Management or related).
• 0–4 years' billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations experience preferred.
• Experience in professional services/engineering/architecture/project-based environment preferred.
• ERP/accounting system experience required; familiarity with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process client invoices according to contract terms and deadlines.
• Manage recurring billing cycles, invoice revisions, and billing corrections.
• Support project setup and budgeting by reviewing contract compensation and billing methods.
• Maintain project financial records and billing support documents (timesheets, expenses, subconsultant invoices).
• Coordinate accounts payable with subconsultants and vendors; log, review, code, reconcile invoices.
