Job summary

Consor is seeking a Billing Analyst to own the end-to-end billing process for multiple projects each month in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with project managers on contracts, change orders, and invoicing, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in project billing, experience with Deltek ERP (Vision or Vantagepoint), and strong Excel skills. A related accounting/finance degree is welcome but not required. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project billing experience, preferably in AEC.
• TXDOT or other DOT invoicing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel with formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field (not required).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle for multiple projects each month.
• Communicate with project managers on contracts, change orders, and billing implications.
• Input and code subconsultant invoices and prepare supporting documentation.
• Deliver final invoices to clients via mail, email, or electronic invoicing.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, including unbilled balances.
• Monitor aged AR balances and pursue collections when needed.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to include billable vouchers and reimbursable expenses.
• Report cash receipts application issues and generate AR reports.
• Monitor WIP aging and unbilled items; ensure compliance with commitments.
• Fulfill government compliance reporting and subconsultant payment tracking.
