Job summary

Consor is seeking a Billing Analyst to manage the full billing cycle for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You’ll review contracts, prepare invoices, and liaise with project managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in project billing within the AEC sector, familiarity with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint, and strong Excel skills. The role supports hybrid work with full-time status in Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with project billing (AEC industry preferred).
• TXDOT or other DOT invoicing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel with formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree in accounting/finance or related discipline (not required).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers regarding contracts, change orders and other contract modifications for project billing.
• Input and code subconsultant invoices and prepare complete invoice packages.
• Deliver final invoices to clients via mail, email, or electronic invoicing platforms.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, including unbilled balances.
• Monitor aged AR balances and pursue collections when needed.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to include billable vouchers and reimbursable expenses.
• Report cash receipts application issues and generate AR reports.
• Monitor WIP and address aging or unbilled items.
• Track and report commitments and subconsultant payments for compliance.
