Job summary

Consor is seeking a Billing Analyst to manage the full billing cycle across multiple projects. You will review contracts, prepare invoices, and collaborate with PMs to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in project billing (AEC preferred), Excel expertise, and familiarity with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint. This hybrid position offers strong growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project billing experience in the AEC industry (preferred).
• TXDOT or other Department of Transportation invoicing experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel with formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (not required).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers regarding contracts, change orders, and billing.
• Input and code subconsultant invoices.
• Prepare complete invoice packages with supporting documentation for approval.
• Deliver final invoices to clients via mail, email, or electronic invoicing platforms.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, including unbilled balances.
• Monitor aged AR client balances and pursue collections when needed.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure billable vouchers and reimbursable expenses are included.
• Report cash receipts application issues and distribute AR reports.
• Monitor WIP and aging/unbilled items.
• Fulfill government compliance reporting for commitments and subconsultant payments.
