Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Service Associate in the Lynn area to blend customer service with teller responsibilities. You will handle deposits, payments, and basic lending referrals, working at the branch and on the platform as needed to support customers and meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller or otherwise) is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and customer service duties.
• Process loan applications for various lending units (mortgage, consumer, small business, etc.).
• Close loans for customers for applicable business lines (i.e. consumer lending).
• Refer to other bank lines and third-party partners to grow the portfolio.
• Proactively reach out to high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Handle deposits, checks, and currency transactions per policy.
