Job summary

The Freeman Company in Las Vegas is seeking a Project Manager – Business Operations to support the General Manager and Director of Operations in planning and executing regional projects. You will collaborate with operations and sales, drive efficiencies, and participate in ad-hoc branch projects to improve outcomes.

This role supports the Audio Visual Production team and typically requires a hybrid schedule, with three in-office/show-site days per week in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years’ professional industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing projects.
• Working knowledge of audio visual systems and live event production.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and strategic thinking in a matrix organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
• Proficient in generating and interpreting reports from computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementation of operational activities in the region.
• Resolve production schedule conflicts between internal departments and external parties.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, facilities, and labor providers.
• Attend pre-con meetings and assist with site surveys as needed.
• Maintain documentation of operational information for events.
• Ensure departments have current information on operational factors.
• Coordinate plans with show site execution team to maximize profitability.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at show sites.
• Act as liaison to sales to explain facilities' operational guidelines.
• Serve as point of contact when multiple departments are involved.
• Ensure Freeman standards through QA and escalations.
• Measure project performance to identify improvements.
