Job summary

The Freeman Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Project Manager – Business Operations to support regional planning and execution of events. You will collaborate with operations and sales to share timely operational information and drive efficiencies across projects.

You will work on AV and Event Technology teams with a hybrid schedule (in-office and show-site 2-3 days per week). A background in live events and cross-functional leadership is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ professional industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing projects.
• Working knowledge of audio visual systems and live event production.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and matrix organization skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute regional operational activities with timely information for planning and design teams.
• Resolve production schedule conflicts between internal departments and outside parties.
• Build relationships with suppliers, facilities, and labor providers.
• Attend pre-con meetings and assist with site surveys for proper planning.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of operational information to support events.
• Coordinate plans with show site execution teams to maximize profitability and resource use.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at show sites and communicate guidelines to sales teams.
