Job summary

The Freeman Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Project Manager – Business Operations to support the Regional - General Manager with planning and execution of regional projects. You will collaborate with operations and sales, drive efficiencies, and support the AV and Event Technology teams.

Hybrid schedule 2-3 days in-office/show-site in Dallas. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project management, strong leadership, and experience with live events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
• Minimum 3 years’ professional industry experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing projects
• Working knowledge of audio visual systems and live event production

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementation of operational activities in the region
• Review and help resolve production schedule conflicts
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and labor providers
• Attend pre-con meetings and assist with site surveys
• Review and maintain documentation of operational information for events
• Coordinate operational plans with show site execution team to maximize profitability
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at show sites
• Act as liaison to sales team to support understanding of facility guidelines
• Serve as point of contact for cross-department projects
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement
