Job summary

Master Trades Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Payment Specialist to join our Boothwyn, PA accounting team. You will handle vendor payments across multiple entities, apply credits, and keep vendor balances accurate to ensure timely processing.

In addition to resolving payment discrepancies, you will work with AP and Accounting to reconcile accounts and communicate with vendors. A high-volume environment and Excel/Sage Intacct proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Experience in high-volume transaction environments.
• Strong eye for detail, credits, and coding accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to research discrepancies through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process vendor payments for assigned entities per schedules.
• Review invoices, credits, and vendor balances; ensure credits are included.
• Verify payment batches for accuracy: entity, vendor, amount, method.
• Investigate failed payments and discrepancies; resolve issues.
• Process credit card payments and code transactions to proper accounts.
• Maintain AP aging and reconcile vendor statements.
• Communicate payment status and remittance information to vendors.
• Collect and maintain vendor ACH information for electronic payments.
• Support vendor portal payments and related requirements.
• Track outstanding issues and drive to resolution or escalation.
