Aston Carter in Miami, FL seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage payments, ensure accurate GL entries, and uphold internal controls in disbursements. The role supports AP/AR tasks and monthly/quarterly close processes on a hybrid schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in AP/AR, strong data entry and Excel skills, and familiarity with Concur. The position includes robust benefits and a path within our finance team.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Two to four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
• At least two years of experience in AP/AR.
• Experience with Nexsure is beneficial.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Process check runs and vendor payments using Concur and other software.
• Receive and review invoices, verifying compliance with policies.
• Perform daily reconciliation of payments to related systems and reports.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform AP month-end and quarter-end duties.
• Annually complete 1099 reporting.
• File and pay sales/use taxes and Unclaimed Property as required.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with daily activities as needed.
