Blue River PetCare is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support clinics nationwide from the Chicago area, working a hybrid schedule near the corporate office at 1 S. Wacker Dr.

The role handles invoice processing, coding, and cash receipts while maintaining vendor records and ensuring timely payments. Qualifications include an associate degree in accounting, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s in accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Review and verify invoices and check requests.
• Set up and enter invoices and expense reports into the accounting system.
• Post daily cash receipts and deposits on Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor accounts payable across multiple locations.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain vendor database, including W-9s and 1099s.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
