Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in a hybrid role as part of a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and develop skills to become a sales representative.

This position focuses on relationship management, prospecting and planning within a designated territory, with a strong emphasis on product knowledge and achieving sales goals through a structured training program.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plan week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to potential customers to show value and quality, with emphasis on American-made products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following proven sales programs and training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and report cost-savings to customers in the field.
